Tuna Pasta Salad
Classic Tuna Pasta Salad is just that, a Classic. You should be able to pull this tuna pasta salad recipe together with any pasta you have.
Classic Tuna Pasta Salad
Ready in 20 minutes
Serves 4-6 people
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Pasta – pick your favorite shape
- 4 cans Tuna, drained
- 6 – Hard Boiled Eggs, diced
- ¼-½ Red Onion, diced
- 4 ribs Celery, diced
- 1 cup frozen Peas, thawed
- 1 ¼ cup Mayo
- ½ teaspoon yellow Mustard
- ¼ cup pickle Relish
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Dill
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Pepper
Preparation
- Hard boil 6 eggs.
- Cook pasta al dente, according to directions. Drain & rinse with cool water.
- While pasta is cooking, prep veggies.
- In a large bowl, whisk mayo, mustard, relish, garlic powder, dill, S & P together.
- Add pasta, eggs, peas to the bowl and toss gently, combining with the dressing.
- Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour before serving.
Tips
Hard boil 12 eggs, so you have a grab & go protein during the week. Option: Add cucumber & tomatoes and serve over Bibb lettuce. Swap out Dijon for the yellow mustard.
