The Gratitude Jar
If you’ve never tried this, you should.
While I love a beautiful Journal, keeping a Gratitude Jar is my favorite way to track my blessings for the year.
- Start with an empty mason jar. Any jar will do really, just make sure it is large enough for all the blessings you will put in it.
- On New Year’s Day (or whenever you decide to try this) put it someplace that you will see it daily (this is important)
- Decorate it…mine is a blue mason jar so I left it as is but you can add ribbon, stickers, etc.
- Lid is optional…I don’t have one.
- Keep a stack of multi-colored post-its by the jar.
- And your favorite pen
- Each day, write something that you are grateful for and put it in the jar.
- On December 31 or January 1, pull out all the notes and review them.
- Start over for the New Year!
For the past 3 years, I have filled my jar and I am always surprised to see some magical things that I have manifested.
In 2022, I found 3 4-leaf clovers (probably more but these were the ones that went into the jar).
Once you set up your jar, take a picture, post it, and tag me.
