The soap I made this month is a Rose Clay soap with Activated Charcoal.

This soap is super great for those who may have oily skin or those that are suffering from breakouts, especially when you have to wear a mask all day.

I was waiting to make soap until I knew where my husband and I would be living and we just signed another year’s lease with our amazing landlady. Why the wait? Soap takes 4-6 weeks to saponify or set, so I didn’t want to deal with moving it.

While I have enjoyed making lotion bars, bath salts, and bath truffles, I am extremely excited about making soap this month.

I haven’t actually made soap since my mom and I used to make soap many, many years ago, and the process has changed or advanced so much that I am looking forward to learning this all over again. Stay Tuned!
